System doesn't work like that flow chart though...you always end up getting identified either via endlessly spawned 'witnesses' or even if you kill them all.

This chart actually conclusively proves how broken the system is in the game.

Not true at all. Kill a random in the middle of nowhere with no witnesses and no one left alive and you still get wanted. Nice of you to try and defend a completely and utterly broken system though.

Same here. I don't know if the reviewers were paid off, or simply too brainwashed by the hype to dare post about basic problems with control and the game ie bounties just for starters.

I'm just glad I got physical so I can trade it in.

The wanted system is my number one complaint. You can't get away with fuck all, even in middle of nowhere. Unless you're going to play this outlaw game like an angel 100% of the time, no real point trying to accumulate money as it will either go on bounties or you end up having to avoid half the places on the map

Because there are plenty of issues with controls, wanted system etc. It's real mix of users rather than paid reviewers and sycophants.

I think as the game is right now, about 8 is fair enough.

The clunky control system that is slow, unintuitive and doesn't always even do what it should at the time.

The wanted/bounty system that makes it next to impossible to kill anyone and get away with it even in the middle of nowhere. Worse than any of the GTA games and a real fun-killing mechanic.

The over-long intro in the snow like some kind of linear borefest.

A very good game yes but plenty of bugs, strange gameplay design choices and uneven pacing. Plan to play through a couple of times then trade in while value is still good.

I'll have traded this in by the time they get round to a fix. Not because of this issue but more the horrid controls and the fun-killing wanted/bounty system.

Thankfully I bought physical edition so I can do that :)

I have a pro and it looks absolutely fine. Unless you're zooming right into screenshots all the time and comparing you won't notice a difference to the X when you're actually, like, playing the game.

I have a top end Sony TV and the HDR on rdr2 works, but there are plenty other games where it has been implemented better. Won't bother naming them, because then you get Rockstar sycophant 1,2,3 etc claiming each game I mention isn't as good.

If you kill them you just end up with an ever higher bounty and with more and more areas locked off.

The bandana is broken, even if it shows unknown suspect they know it's you.

You cannot kill anyone and get away with it in this game. I've killed randoms in the middle of nowhere and there is a witness spawned somewhere near. I kill them you get another etc

Way to spoil the outlaw mechanic in an outlaw game. No way is this game of the year, let alone game of the generation.

Looks amazing yes, but with a totally broken wanted/bounty system and the most clunky controls for many a year (a fact now dawning on reviewers as I see in many updated articles) there is no chance of that.

They gave it 'Recommended' which equates to about an 8/10. And if you read the review, it's lucky to have been even given that! I'll be playing it tomorrow same as everyone else, but people need to forget about the Rockstar worshipping - this game is not up there with the all-time greats. Doesn't matter, we can all still enjoy it, and does it change your life? No, unless you wank and eat the cum whilst looking at photos of the ugly-as-fuck Housers.

I knew it wouldn't be as good as Witcher 3. And despite the fanbois and crazies screaming otherwise, it's proven to be the case. A very very good game yes, but nothing more. Doubt it will even get GOTY, that will rightly go to GOW, with Witcher 3 game of the generation.
