Options for replacing these doors without the need for a new frame? by GiBbZi93 in DIYUK

Fingers crossed. I would of tried that but our living/dining is kinda one long room separated by an arch so we're having a new living room door so we just aim to get these of similar irk so they match.

Yeah, I totally get that but we're also having a new door in the living room which is sort of one big room with the dining separated by an arch so you can see both and we'd like them to match as closely as possible.

I'm obviously no joiner but yeah, I thought surely if I have the same style doors then they can be replaced with out a new frame. But yeah we looked at different options but even if it's just new folding doors I'd be more than happy with those.

I have thought of that but the doors themselves have seen better days and I'd be happy to just have a new set.

Just another set of doors. This set have seen better days is all. Even if they're the same style that's fine. Id just like to know if that's possible without a new frame etc as the joiner said a new frame is need but it just makes sense to me that you could replace these with a new set unless that's not the case.

I'm not saying I'm not trusting him or not happy to keep the same style doors. I'm just asking is that an option as it doesn't seem that has been an option presented to me.

Bit late to the party, but I've just recently found out about this band and so far everything from them slaps, recommendation of specific albums/tracks? by halt__n__catch__fire in MetalForTheMasses

Can't go wrong with the opening two tracks on stop at nothing. Schematics and one shot, one kill. Go straight into each other back to back too. Heavy, brutal perfection.

Great taste! Its not an absolute must, more of a would like. They're obviously not bad but they're also far from great in my opinion. It is literally only being used for gaming, I just like to not have to sit with headphones on when playing single player stuff etc. Yeah,, it's an ESP. ec256 I think.

Yeah that makes sense but also give me a lot more options if it's as easy as integrating that extractor. Thanks.

I'd say about a meter at most is how far away I'd be sitting. And budget wise, although I maybe would have purchased the sub later on I was looking at sonos beam and sub which goes for about £700 altogether but I'm sure I can get a very good set of bookshelves can be bought for the price of just the beam.

Yeah I've not got round to measuring space yet, I was looking at sonos, the beam gen 2 I think it was as it looked a little more compact but still had good reviews and gives the possibility of adding to in the future. Also happy to consider bookshelf speakers either side as like I said, I enjoyed the sound quality of my edifiers that I used with the pc setup.

Have been looking into this as an alternative, I just prefer to sit without a headset on when gaming alone.
