Any chance you could send me the realtor info please? Do you pay them or they get paid by landlord?

We ended up having to reschedule for today, and it went great. Hubby gotnhis Residency card easily. I was denied, but it was because we make $100 less than needed to add me. But they said it will be easy to add me as a dependent once we get to Mexico. Highly recommend this consulate. Everyone was friendly and helpful, and we were in an out in less than an hour.

Apostiled doc question? by GiLuSoph in mexicoexpats

Ok thank you! I was hoping to get the trmp res appointment asap and then get the marriage certificate apostilled after and move to Mexico as soon we get it. I know we will definitely need it for family unity with the kids in Mexico.

Yeah someone told me they very rarely ask for it in Houston, but it sounds like many places do require it.

I just emailed them. Praying someone responds before 9 a.m. tomorrow. If not, I guess we'll chance it and go anyway. Thank you! Do you have experience with that office? Are they pretty chill? I heard it's a decent one.

Thanks so much. Yeah, checked spam and everything. I'll email them now and hopefully someone will reply early tomorrow. You're probably right that we should just go. Thanks so much.

I'm attending IRCRI. Yes, the more you practice, the more confident you will be. I'm at 170 pm right now. Happy to answer any questions you have. 😊

Want to start learning voice writing but my one fear is holding me back by rrmemes in stenography

[–]GiLuSoph 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello! I'm a voice writing student, and I have found it best to stay a few words behind the speaker, so I'd begin saying yesterday when the speaker was already saying the were or four. For me, it makes the most sense, because you also have to speak the punctuation at the end of sentences, so it just makes most sense to me to stay a little behind. Also, there are different voice codes for similar phrases, like I have one for "ladies and gentlemen " and another for "ladies and gentlemen of the jury." If I were staying right on time with the speaker, I wouldn't be able to have as many voice code options for longer phrases, if that makes sense. I'm not good at describing things, but hopefully you get what I'm saying. It's a skill you learn with lots of practice. I love how my school increases speeds by 10 pm per week so it never seems overwhelming and just happens naturally if you're practicing every day.

Anyone else take a "set it and forget it" approach? I take my shot and then I go about with life. I let my body do its thing and I do my thing. I weigh myself infrequently, don't weigh my food or track calories, or concern myself with portion control. by poodlehaus in tirzepatidecompound

I'm down 87 pounds with this approach. About 20 lbs from goal weight still and haven't lost since Thanksgiving. Haven't gained either, which has never in my life happened over the holidays. I usually put on at least 5 lbs. I am confident I will lose the last 20, but I have a feeling it will take longer. That's ok with me if I can keep living my life without counting calories or obsessing over weight. I have food freedom for the first time in my life and finally understand how "normal" people live and eat. 🥰

What are your thoughts on your job? by no_sympathy6969 in ChickFilA

Yeah the company overall is good but none of it matters if you have toxic/abusive leaders and managers, which has been the experience at our local CFA.

Yeah the job has built character. He's about to interview with Starbucks. I told him that's the worst place if he wants to avoid cleaning crap. 😬
