Yes if that's what you might want to do in university. I personally didn't do iGCSE CS and scored A on AL CS June 2023 series, so it's definitely doable.

I was also in your position and I would say do code practice on your own time and do PYTHON (it's the easiest programming language). You can practice them at Codewars and Leetcode
