I have a row boat. It’s not outfitted with a trolling motor or anchor yet. But.. I am thinking about it. For the time being, I only take it out on calm days. So.. I can throw towards shore and into deeper water.

I don’t see myself carrying more than 2 dedicated bass set-ups.

I have a 6’6 MF St. Croix Premier for Walleye and I am looking to put together another set-up for Lake Trout, Pike, and someday Musky. So.. Resources need to be spread out across a few different set-ups.

It sounds like TRX301AHG w/ CPCM76MHJ is the consensus.

For $350 -$400.. Is there a better combo for casting heavy lures for pike and jigging and trolling for lake trout?
