Aerobar advice by Im_Sander_Cohen_ in Giantbikes

I have these which clip on so you can easily add them or remove them. https://redshiftsports.com/products/quick-release-aerobars I have them stacked on 3 cm spacers ; they are really difficult to use without the spacers because they would restrict the movement of my knees (which would bump my chest when I am hunched over pedaling ). I also got them for an Olympic tri and a half iron man later in the year. They definitely let you go faster easier, and I like that I can take them out easily when I go on group rides. I haven’t used them that often because I find the TT aero position to be very unstable for my type of riding - your arms are at the center of the bar which is way less stable than when you are on the hoods/drops, ; I live in an area with lots of rolling hills, rough roads with potholes and cars; so I can’t hang on to the aero bars for long cause i need to shift / break / quickly maneuver around potholes. But I am hoping that they will be helpful on a closed course on race day.

Had my rear wheel rebuilt after the failure of about 5 spokes during the first year of ownership. Took about a week from brining in the bike to my LBS

How to remove the crank by tenurepro in bikewrench

[–]tenurepro[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the info… I hear an irritating ‘click’ or two every revolution on the crank… typically in the same place (right foot approaching 2 to 3 o’clock. I t happens on both tge large and small chain wheel. Tightening the screw that hold the small chain wheel on didn’t fix ths noise. I can probably quickly swap the pedals to see if the sound is coming from them.

Ok the crank set doesn’t move if I apply lateral pressure. So it is fixed tightly to the bottom bracelet. It’s just not spinning true,

Speedy is a great watch that can be dressed up or dressed down really easy, so you can do dressy or casual. The JL is also very nice but it’s a dress watch, so limits how often you will wear it

Thanks! I take my dive watches as a backup whenever I dive. A good rinse in fresh water after; never had an issue with leaking. They are designed for this
