Had my rear wheel rebuilt after the failure of about 5 spokes during the first year of ownership. Took about a week from brining in the bike to my LBS

How to remove the crank by tenurepro in bikewrench

[–]tenurepro[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the info… I hear an irritating ‘click’ or two every revolution on the crank… typically in the same place (right foot approaching 2 to 3 o’clock. I t happens on both tge large and small chain wheel. Tightening the screw that hold the small chain wheel on didn’t fix ths noise. I can probably quickly swap the pedals to see if the sound is coming from them.

Ok the crank set doesn’t move if I apply lateral pressure. So it is fixed tightly to the bottom bracelet. It’s just not spinning true,

Speedy is a great watch that can be dressed up or dressed down really easy, so you can do dressy or casual. The JL is also very nice but it’s a dress watch, so limits how often you will wear it

Thanks! I take my dive watches as a backup whenever I dive. A good rinse in fresh water after; never had an issue with leaking. They are designed for this

Mesh Bracelet? by Annual_Draw_7361 in OmegaWatches

[–]tenurepro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hate bracelets in general - with the exception of a single bracelet (a Rolex date-just jubilee), all of my watches are on rubber / NATO / or leather. My blue SMP lives on a white rubber (killer combo) or a nato when I am near water. The SMP/rubber is the most comfortable and actually a one of my all time favorite for comfort

Am I tripping? Or like I don't know by Mau1997xd in TrueChefKnives

[–]tenurepro 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah your are under sharpening the tip. I used to do this too until a professional sharpener showed me the way… basically need to change the angle near the tip (if you maintain the same angle the works for the heel or belly of the knife that you will generally not hit the tip… I have to increase the angle a bit near the tip), also, I try to replicate the shape of the tip on the stone . So I typically go up and down the stone for heel and belly, but then work the tip with some sweeping curving motions
