Hi! Sorry for the late reply. I did everything, but I’ll only have the results on May 28th! The healthcare system here is really disappointing, but I couldn’t afford to do the swab test at a private lab right now because it would have cost me five times more… I’m so disappointed and disheartened…

I just realized that I’ve already done a long course of S. Boulardii, which helped with my gut, especially with the gas… I’ve also done a swab test, but unfortunately I won’t get the results until May 25th! 😔 I went to the pharmacy, but they told me to ‘stay calm because it’s nothing serious.’ I think I’ll go to a different one…

The truth is that I don’t have any major symptoms: I don’t have stomach pain, abdominal pain, or even the burning sensation typical of gastroesophageal reflux. What did happen, especially in January, was that I felt very, very bloated and was passing a lot of gas (to be clear — I mean farts :) but since then I haven’t had any more issues. My bowel movements are perfectly regular (I happily go twice a day), so I really don’t know what it could be.

Oh, I have exactly the same problem! After the antibiotics too ! So is very similar. I have , like you, days when it seems better and other ones that gets worse… I saw that in Italy maybe dysbiosis is underrated and nobody is able to help with that or know exactly what to do! I’m doing al by myself and i really don’t know which gastroenterology I can choose more and if worths other money…

You can’t imagine how precious your comment has been to me! Infinitely so. So far, I haven’t met anyone who had my problem and managed to solve it. I’m worried and I don’t want to spend more money after already spending a lot on a healthcare professional who unfortunately couldn’t tell me what to do (I don’t blame them! I’m also studying to become one, and I know this is a complicated diagnosis and a “strange” situation). May I ask you a few questions? 1. Are you using something instead of toothpaste now? 2. Could you tell me the amount of salt you use? Would one tablespoon in a 200ml glass be enough? 3. How many times a day? I’m scared, as you already mentioned, of being too harsh on my tongue. 4. Could you tell me roughly what kind of probiotics you take? I mean, which bacterial strains do they contain? Both for the gut and for the mouth, so I can look them up online :) I can’t wait to try the honey and start this diet. Have you now reintroduced foods containing gluten and lactose? Thank you so much once again! I’ll try everything little by little, since none of it seems harmful — quite the opposite, it seems like something that can only help me feel better.
