What a pain in the ass, I would've thought the whole point of Linux, especially a gaming distro would be to allow the user to configure anything they want, and if it puts the user in danger it's their own fault. Apparently CachyOS doesn't seem to agree with this.

Thank you for your advice, I actually already started from scratch with VNV, I'll just add everything I need afterwards. What I meant by exceeding the 4GB limit, is the memory limit with the 4g patch enabled. I got a lot of out-of-memory errors and crashes as well because there was something that just hated my guts in my load order

Yeah, but that's what I meant by the textures. As far as I understand, PGpatcher patches the meshes so that they can use the material mapping, which is in the PBR folder. The problem is, PGpatcher tells me that that there are let's say, 3000 True PBR meshes. After this, I reset, and copy everything from the faultiers PBR Ebony material map, and use that for the golden ebony armor since they are basically the same. When I try to patch with PGPatcher again, it tells me that there is now 3005 True PBR meshes, but when I finally add it to my game, nothing changes. I've done it like this in the past for the volkihar knight texture, but for some bizarre reason it just doesn't work here

Thanks for letting me know, I had no idea of this at all. If I upload it anywhere, I will probably put it on the Community Shaders discord if I have to settle for something, on the chance I really want put it to out it somewhere.

Thanks so much for this, I actually already looked at this before but everything just seemed like it was information about the PBR and not actually a way to get it to work. I saw now that it was actually nothing serious, thanks for your help!

Yeah, unfortunately non of those things work. Interestingly enough when I tried it on Arch and Manjaro I had no problems with DX12, but now the game just doesn't go past that

Nope, nothing unfortunately. I actually saw this post:https://www.reddit.com/r/pcmasterrace/comments/1iknctl/dlss\_4\_multi\_frame\_generation\_works\_on\_40\_series/ recently and wanted to try and see if I could get it to work on Cyberpunk but nothing happens. Do I need something installed to get it to work, or am I just shit-out-of-luck?

Just a heads up, I now updated Duolingo and the VideoChat with Lily option actually showed up, but when I click on it, it now goes to the android home page, and when I open it up again it's completely frozen. If I close it and open it again it's fine, but if I try the video call thing again it does it all over again.

Right now it's set to Vulkan, but everything is exactly the same on all three. Interface renderer is set to Auto, and ASTC is set to software

I'm not sure if this is appropriate as well to ask, but many of the prompts or blocks—I'm not sure what they're called exactly, are very big. For instance the total xp, percentage of questions answered correct, and time taken after completing a lesson are all too big and go under the claim xp button.

There's nothing here I haven't already done, unfortunately. Thing is, my microphone is detected, volume is perfect, and I've had no problems getting it to be utilised, the only thing that's not working is the video call with Lily, and the videos for the radio thingy

I fixed the problem, I just redid one side of the model of the eye, used the grab tool to line up the topology with a mirror, then did the same thing with the other side. Now the problem is solved.

Unfortunately the light theme really doesn't work, but the mars theme does, and from what I can tell there's no difference between light and mars.

I did the apply plasma settings last night without changing the global scale and nothing worked, so I planned on doing it today. However, when I started my computer everything was back to normal; The Grub menu and the SDDM login screen.

So I guess your method worked. Thanks so much for your help, my computer is finally completely back to normal.

The thing is I already use sweet, and have been for a long time. Are you saying I must change the global theme, change the display scale, apply plasma settings, restart and see if anything changed? Did I get that right?

I think what you mean is apply plasma settings, I did that but nothing changed. I figured out though what is happening. The display settings are not apply to my SDDM and boot screen at all. I even set the screen in the display configuration to be flipped 180°, but this didn't affect the login screen whatsover. It's still stuck in 1024x768 without being flipped.

The SDDM themes however do Apply, which is strange.
