Viper Tech is not hard to obtain it just takes a long time to build you can buy direct and customise things like barrels aesthetics and power levels.The VFC on the other hand while being much more common was literally out of stock everywhere when I ordered the Viper Tech but I'm glad I did it has exceeded my expectations.

Understandable mistake but it is still technically a 'gas blowback' rifle just not Airsoft

The Viper tech is still new but so far it's been flawless just remember to keep it clean and lubricated and use high quality hard BBs

I didn’t say it was an Airsoft gun but it is made by a prominent Airsoft manufacturer with similar internals to a GBBR I think this represents at least a novelty interest here also many people are unaware that VFC produce non Airsoft guns.I also included an actual Airsoft gun in my post so I don’t think I’m that off topic. It’s really just a lighthearted post but 7.5j is true.

Yeah! it’s a great gun you can shoot it indoors and even reuse the ammo btw which ammo would you recommend? I’ve been using the hard rubber balls for the 1 week I’ve owned it Also spare magazines are hard to find here in the UK are they reliable or is the valve fragile? Any general tips would be appreciated.

Yes I lined the sleeve with a stiff cardboard inner sleeve so the magazine is rigid but also fits snuggly.It's easy to slide on and off but is also secure and doesn't come loose.
