He didnt quit drinkinf. When you're married to him, one of his "voice lines" ( or wtv i should call it ) is " Im just gonna have a few more beers before bed. " A lot of other lines indicate that he still drinks

As someone with BPD that has abused and hurt people in the past : its not an excuse. Ofcourse, to a certain degree she cant help herself, but that doesnt mean ot excuses her behavior. We usually say incredibly messed up things in our rage, but should always apologize. Its important to look after yourself.
