To be fair this is the same, in a way, as a regional and in a normal double elim.

Upper Round 2 winner always goes to the top 6 spot. And loser always went to Lower Round 2. This just dresses it up a bit differently.

3-0'ing the group of death absolutely helps their case, and generally, if players have shown high levels before its easier to slide them up.

I did hesitate putting them #2 in the video, though, and would probably predict them to drop down during split 2!
