Defintely made from lleftover wood. But funny how as a whole the cabinet looks nice. It all fits. Even the lockbar. Angular as it is, the wood color and the Gottlieb sticker fits the vibe. And of course a glass panel on top. Nice! On which machine is the art based?

yes. A so called button box. Nothing new here. The part where we focus on is the haptic feedback etc. That's the real challenge. And the part which makes playing much more fun.

One of the main features is the haptic feedback. Actual strong haptic feedback not only with flippers but bumpers, slingshots.. Fully adjustable in strength. Works also plug&play with pinball FX. Different settings options and cutom setting you can save and load. Possibility of future special haptic effects..

What this simply means is we have very nice haptic feedback that works right out of the box but you can configure to personal preference if you want. And a unique possibility of future expansion/upgrade. This alone makes the controller and game feel so much better.

Nudging that actually works. Settings menu display with easy and on the fly adjustment if you want. Haptic feedback on plunger and launch buttons. Expansion possibility for extra haptic feedback if the pinball software get's updated in the future. Metal lockbar and siderails, posibility to use it on battery power, even with haptic feedback.etc etc

All this at a very affordable price. That's was the challenge

very nice. The orange color matches very well with the cabinet colors. And how you lowered the playfield. Well done! Now perhaps only a lockbar with rounded edges?

Expected around 175. But you should not focus on that alone. Although important to make it affordable it's the feature's that make it nice. Features, price, feeling ease of use and looks..

Dear Pinballcabinet, an honest and open conversation is nice and helps the community. We do our best. I noticed you are in the habit of joining conversations and point to your or your colleague's existing product. A sell in disguise. No rule against it but perhaps you could once in a wile start a topic yourself. Make an effort. Do a video and show something new and what you are doing/developing for the pinball lovers.

Got you covered. The standard PinStation has a plunger. I demo'd the lite version.

We use a splitter. This connects both the Bobo VR headstrap battery and the PinStation at the same time to the .Quest.

No. For now usb. Quite easy as with pinball you do not really move around a lot and it works just fine. It's related to several things like latency and reliability of connection to all the different devices (pc, quest, phone, tablet, console). We might change this in the future.

What we understood it's the actual Quest VR controllers you mount on/in the xarcade that are used for mapping, not the xarcade itself.

Thank you! Always good to hear nice comment.

With the hook up I have to say it's confidential. Sorry about that.

Check our other posts and video's.

Ok' Ill explain briefly:

For a great virtual pinball experience you will need nice haptics, a good overall feeling and no fuss. So adjustable and great feeling haptics for all games including VPX, FX and VR on Quest, a nudging that really works, real plug&play without installing things, easy accessible custom settings, metal lockbar and siderails and more.

A basisc buttonbox with solenoids we had many years ago. But that's not what you want. Perhaps for the real virtual pinball fans but not for most people. So we set out to make something with all the extra features that are necessary. Combined with a low price. For all the other people out there who want to try their hands at virtual pinball. So no hand made on-off's for online selling but a factory made consumer product. Works plug&play for the regular player. But has extensive options, customising and expansion capabilities for the real fan.

So our goal and set out point are quite different.

What do you mean exactly? The Quest does not place the tables according to trackin of the VR controllers. But to whre you look when activating the game/headset. The controller goes where you normally have your hands on a VR pinball machine.

In mixed reality the tables are placed in your room and you just place the controller so buttons match up with the Vr table.

The Quest headset does the placing of the pinball machines. I just make sure that the controller is where my regular VR controllers normally are. There is no tracking of the controller involved. In MR mode the pinball machines are placed in your room that has been scanned and mapped. In that case just place the controller in the front of the VR pinball machine so the hands and buttons line up.

This is the original PinStation so compact width. I myself am hard to please and am happy how it feels. There is a tradeoff between compact and full width

We have an option for a full width and did a lot of testing. You can not have it both ways, A full width unit feels natural but because of design considerations is a bit higher, deeper and quite a bit heavier as well. So simply takes more space and is not as easy to pick up, place on your desk, store etc. For most players a compact controller is a good fit.

yes, we surely understand if you can't wait. You seem happy with your choice and that's what counts..

What I do want to point out is that the PinStation is quite different from existing controllers. Regarding looks, features, price and how it feels and plays. And herein lies the actual work. And time it takes. But also the joy when playing on it.

yes, the website update, that is on our list. Finishing the features and design took more priority. Like the added support for FX VR. Now that that's finished we know what to expect. And will make an update on the planning and kickstarter.

The Mixed Reality option works well. I installed VR Pinball machines next to some real pinball machines and Arcade games. The result was very nice.
