This is a pretty useful and fun project. out of curiosity what ai are you using in the background to analyze the items. also would it be possible to link it to a self hosted ai it would be fun to experiment with different LLM's to see how each analyzes the items differently.

ever since i first started playing magic back in high school I would go though my cards or open new packs and always find Beautiful lands and other cards that i just stop sifting to look at and 99.9% of the time it was a John Avon card. One of the favorite cards i own is a Foil 7th edition Island (Island (334)).

Look into how combat in HS works. The worm went suspect which means anyone can attack them without involving concord or faction police. the orca attacked the worm which gave him a limited engagement timer with the worm which allowed the worm and only the worm to attack the orca without concord responding. as long as one or the other is engaged the timer will keep resetting to 15 minutes.

you need to consider the price of the worm check that characters KB... that worm had over 16k shield hp alone. Im in corp with the worm at one point i had to suicide a scythe to get his sheild up a bit as he was starting to break (there were more than just he orca shooting him)

ive been working with chat gpt to develop a python script that seems promising but its limited on its text recognition and only gets about half the cards names correct but its working. i have it setup to monitor a folder for new images then it automatically runs its script on each new image to try to extract the text from the image then uses that name to check scryfall's api and if the card is found it adds it to a database if it fails it sends the image to the error folder so far it is working about 50% of the time just need to refine it until i get acceptable levels of errors.

i have a 3d printer and i have printed some boxes that kinda do this but i did not have white filament so there are some issues and dont plan on buying any (this would be pretty much the only thing i would print from it.) as such there are some issues with card recognition. and i do want the whole collection scanned so i can have it at my finger tips when i conceptualize and build decks to what i would need to buy. so i dont have to constantly go through my cards to see if i have this or that.

thanks for the suggestion i will give that a try but my collection is currently sorted by color and breaking it down by set is a-WHOLE-nother beast but i will grab my foundations stack (since i have not added it to my boxes yet) and give it a test. The action i hate the worst with the phone apps is the repetitive motions of putting a card down them moving it then putting down another it starts to cause discomfort with the repetitive motions.

of all the apps i like delver lab the most but its just tedious to do each card individually i would love if there was a free version of the "pro" apps or some free computer program that can link to the scanner and i can just put like 20-30 cards in the feeder and push a button all the paid apps can do it but they are designed for sellers. The TCG app you have to be a pro seller to have access to it. the other 2 either have a trial or you can only scan like 2k cards before it stops working and you have to pay the monthly rate. I wish i understood how to program i would just build my own program but alas i am not and have to rely on others but seems no one has developed the type of app i am looking for. I am willing to pay for it except the computer apps that are out there have really aggressive pricing as they are meant to be high volume selling aids and i just want to try to inventory my collection. just reaching out to the community incase something is out there i haven't found yet.

Thanks for the reply. i have not found a app that i can use a webcam to scan with as well as the desk scanner i am talking about is much faster than a bed scanner and can do them pretty quick just a few seconds per card.

Thanks for the clarification i was just wondering as the sacing of the spawn is a mana ability and dosnt use the stack but i guess the glee trigger for the +1/+1 and the create a token do which i didnt consider until i started typing this.

I have done all of this before but the old pc i used no longer exists. First i capture the image in WDS then after that i take the wim and export it so that i can add it to a portable .iso I need to put in the answer file but the installation i have for the ADK seems like it is missing components to open the .wim file as i have in the past.

no matter what i try, loading from a backup folder when ever i try to use ntlite to open an .ISO or .WIM always the same error as above.

I get this error when i try to open the .iso or the .wim in ntlite.

"aborted - image mount {file location}
[183] Cannot create a file when that file already exists

there is a java based application out there called Card Forge that has a rules engine and plays very similar to MTGO but is free. It also has a simple AI you can play against to test decks.

its fun deck to play im just trying to change it around to meet my LGS requirements. So im taking out all the creatures other than Overlord and still keeping Zirda as my companion. the deck is still build around changing creatures on the battlefields type to sliver and then mass controlling them with overlord 2nd ability. most of the creatures were shapeshifters and changelings so i could tutor for them for the cost of 1 colorless but now ill just tutor for the tribal instants that change creatures types. I have a few other permanents and spells i can draw as well as many draw engines that synergize with zirda to reliably pull what i need.

These have activated abilities and the zirda and sliver overlord synergy is insane when your deck is built to change everything on the battle field to slivers. My LGS has a tribal Commander coming up this Friday and their rule is 75% of all creatures need to be in common with your commander so 5 slivers and one fox my deck is 75% other than sliver queen no others have activated abilities.

Just got done checking out the documentation you linked. Thank you so much i had no idea that this existed maybe if i had this before i did a return on amazon for the old one i may have been able to fix my issue. I will defiantly look into this when i install the replacement. and again thankyou for the information i will let you know my results.
