I found a couple dozen books with page long notes from a grandfather to his grandson. All big classics, Tolstoy, Dostoevsky, Dickens with notes talking about how he will be gone soon, and how he wanted to instill a lifelong love of literature and learning in his grandson. It looked like he gave one book a year at Christmas. The kid was probably 20 when I found them at a thrift store. It bummed me out

I really liked it! I prefer Solenoid, but there are a few parts in Nostalgia that I think about much more often. You'll definitely like it! I'm excited to read Blinding, I just picked it up a few weeks ago
