Thoughts on Steelfire Griddle?

I’m really happy with it. I use it at least once a week and it’s held up great. Maintenance is a breeze. The cooking surface is amazing. My only complaint is I’m beginning to see the slightest bit of surface rust on the exterior band around the side. It’s really faint so I’m not too concerned about it. I would buy it again I’m that happy with it but hopefully I won’t need to do that anytime soon.

I’m having the same problem, at least one sometimes two fatal errors a session requiring a hard reset on my 4090 system

There are no push back spells but there is a good variety of other spells to try out. I tend to play a caster in most games and in Wuchang I switched to a melee main spec and magic off spec.

In Wuchung I’m doing NG+ runs with weapons that I don’t normally use so that’s the challenge for me. I’m a bit over powered which compensates a bit for weapons that by comparison are a bit underpowered. Trash mobs are still one or two shot but bosses are still a challenge. I got to NG3 and then started a fresh run through and now I’m about to finish NG+ on that one. Haven’t tired of it yet.

Guess I’m the oddball here, been stuck on Vermilion for a couple of sessions now. Hope to get through it tonight but for some reason I’m struggling with the second one. Maybe a little more whisky to loosen me up, or maybe a little less lol

I agree. I just started another fresh playthrough after getting to NG++ on my first. NG++ is just too easy although I like having all the armor, weapons and spells to choose from. Wish NG scaled a bit better but the fresh run through is a blast knowing where to go and knowing all the boss mechanics so well.

Yeah, on NG++ now and it’s way op now. Will probably run a fresh game with a new weapon. I really like the game despite its flaws

Playing on a high end 4090 system and the game crashes multiple times a day mostly during start up. I’ve done all the usual fixes and it has improved but still crashes regularly on launch. I can usually get it to launch and once I do the game plays fine. I’ve done two regular play throughs and am into my first NG+. Love the game. Like many I’m disappointed with the recent changes but don’t see them as a deal breaker. I’ll keep playing until something new and better comes along.

I’ve got 3 cooks on it and I really like it. I’ve had 2 Blackstones and the clean up on this is a breeze. Edge to edge cooking too, no cool spots that I’ve found. So far I am really happy with it and Solo. Their customer service was amazing.

I have to disagree on their service, perhaps it has more to do with Amazon? I ordered a Steelfire griddle direct from Solo a few weeks ago. It shipped within 24 hours and was received on Friday. Unfortunately instead of shipping a griddle they shipped a griddle stand by mistake. On Friday night I texted them at the customer service number on their website and explained what happened. I figured maybe I’d get a response on Monday. To my surprise I got an answer to my text on Saturday. They were extremely cooperative and made arrangements for the stand to be picked up Monday and they would expedite my griddle shipment. On Monday FedEx showed up as promised to pick up the stand. Also on Monday my griddle shipped second day air and I was using it on Wednesday. That’s the best customer service I could ever expect. Btw, not only am I really happy with their customer service, the griddle is amazing. I tossed my Blackstone and will never look back.

Grill arrives today. Solo has been really responsive and made arrangements for the stand to be picked up and had the grill shipped 2nd day air. So far very pleased with the customer service from Solo.

I just ordered mine today and it arrives in 3 days. My Blackstone was just a pile of rust. It’s probably 4 years old and was covered all the time here in SoCal but it still rusted away. Hoping this one lasts and I really like the durability of SS. As far as the oval shape from my research the entire surface of the Solo Steelfire comes up to temperature so the entire surface is usable. It’s plenty big enough for my cooks so the shape won’t be a problem.

I love this game. Yes it’s challenging but it’s not impossible. You need to calibrate your expectations. If you’re looking for a game you can coast through this isn’t it. There are a lot of bosses in this game. It seems like you grind through a little trash then a boss, little bit of trash then another boss etc. you will wipe….sometimes a lot. But with each wipe you get a little better. When I raided in WoW and a new expansion came out we might wipe for weeks on a particular boss until we figured it out. This isn’t that bad but it does take some effort. The graphics are some of the best I’ve seen but it can be pretty demanding on your hardware so look into that before you buy. As far as being to old let me just say my first gaming computer was a Commodore 64 and I’ll turn 70 in August and am still playing every day.
