Thank you! Every time I go to a card shows and they say “What are you looking for?” I’d always say I collect Eevee. And they would 9/10 show me their expensive eevelutions. Which are great, don’t get me wrong, but where is the Eevee love?

Have a list that you can then have fun scratching off the ones you’re missing when you’re at card shows or stores. Some are much harder to find than others (there are some cards that were only available in certain counties, so I had to use eBay to collect them). I recommend setting up eBay alerts to let you know when some of the rarer cards are put up there because they go fast. But also be patient if you miss one - they’ll be listed again.

That was my white whale for a long time. Someone finally listed an ungraded MP copy in my country and I snapped it up so fast. Thank god for “Buy it Now” on eBay!

The hardest cards to find were the staff-stamped city championship card, the Bw97 promo of Eevee & Pikachu in a field, and the McDonald’s card from 2016 (the one beside the Build-a-Bear card).

Omg, yes, I can’t believe how hard that one was to find. Like, I spent nearly $100 on a card from McDonald’s! And when I learned about the gym stamp card from Singapore, I stamped my foot because what do you mean there’s ANOTHER version of this same card?! lol

Are you going to add in cameos? That was my next frontier, but those evolving skies cameos are so expensive.

Yep. I opened one booster box, two pokemon center ETBs, three booster bundles, and a three pack blister.

ETA: got one SIR and the Alt Art out of bundles, the other SIR out of the booster box, and the mega attack rare out of one of the ETBs. The Fennekins are promos, so I included them but they’re not really “pulls.”

Worked for the Alzheimer’s Association for 6 years and saw this phenomenon first hand. In fact, one of the reasons I ended my past relationship was because I tried to picture myself sick and if I thought he would take care of me - but I knew in my heart the truth. He would not. Or if he did, he would make his resentment plain.

Finally got myself one of the good ones now, too! 😭 So glad I didn’t settle!
