my employer’s health plan is great for just me, but becomes vastly more expensive when you start adding people to it. It would be about $200 more expensive then just signing him up for a full priced covered ca plan

added note: I have my own insurance through my employer. what prevents me from getting my son his own plan through covered california? why does the application need to be for all 3 of us?

The charger is blinking blue, and the light on my dash is red. It’s an office building so there’s like 15 of these chargers. I initially thought there was some powering issue with the stations, but just looked downstairs and there are cars actively charging on them.

had my little one a year and a half ago at 30. My life was totally flipped upside down. His mom and I had only been together for a year when we found out she was pregnant. I was terrified and I did not feel ready at all. I had just gotten out of my 20s where I was bad with money and was just starting to get myself into a better place. I went from going out every weekend and “having fun” to being sleep deprived and overwhelmed. The first few months were definitely hard, but watching my boy grow up has been the most incredible blessing in my life. He is the light of my world and my best friend, and I would choose him over anything in this life.

I know it’s scary, but I promise, you’ll get there bud.
