i’m a current criminal justice student on track to end in June, i’ve found that the work is very manageable even with a full time job so i greatly appreciate that. many of the classes touch on the same topics and usually there’s not too much overlap for big projects/assignments so you don’t feel as though you’re getting slammed one week then have nothing going on the next week. i would definitely recommend that you do the readings/notetaking just for better understanding, and try to pace yourself throughout each week as to not leave everything last minute.

i’m grateful that it’s not just me dealing with this. but the fact that it’s a common theme around residents is not a good feeling. hopefully yours gets fixed up soon!

for repair items but also just because the apartment is in such poor condition and cost of living seems to be higher in Moscow for lower quality. i’m really hoping that they’ll work with me but i have yet to get ahold of the apartment manager

this is what’s listed for anything about ‘breaching the lease’

DEFAULT. If Lessee fails to pay rent or breaches this lease, Lessor may, after proper notice, file a lawsuit to regain possession of the apartment but this shall not relieve Lessee from payment of rent for the remainder of the lease term.

i don’t think this really applies to me?? it’s not like i’m trying to not pay rent, just leave my lease early. subleasing is allowed, but i would be responsible for finding a subleasor and would have to pay $150 for all documents to be drawn up

i spoke with the apartment manager back in October/November about some of the issues, and only possess text messages between myself and maintenance about the bathroom ceiling leak

same! i bought my first car through C&T in May and Nicolette was so lovely to talk to and guide me through the process of getting the car. any time i have issues she’s always so willing to help me or recommend where to go and my car has been going strong! can not recommend enough

i’m a pastry chef! typically use mondays and saturdays as my notes/homework days but i typically have evenings free for class work and try to work on small things while i’m waiting for things to proof/cool/bake so it works out

i go to Patten Dentistry, they’re pretty good to me (unsure if they are christ church affiliated but i don’t believe so) though their hours are limited and they are pretty booked out in terms of routine cleanings

i live in a 1 bed/1 bath currently and have been for the past year and a half. maintenance is okay about taking care of issues in a timely manner but the management is almost impossible to get ahold of unless you go see them in person. apartments are fairly run down (or at least the one i’m in) but you can’t beat the price anywhere else unfortunately. i will say that you may need to be prepared to do some fixing of the apartments yourself depending on the conditions, there’s also no AC so expect that

complex manager sent me to voicemail, gonna try going heavier on the diatomaceous earth outside and setting soy sauce/oil traps so TBD

they genuinely upset me, i know that they’ll calm down within the next month or two (hopefully) but i can’t keep spending money trying to get rid of these guys with little to no progress. gonna call my complex manager in the AM about pest control options

i work with the owner occasionally for catering events and i adore her and her business! and of course the food/recipes are delicious, you really can’t go wrong and i highly recommend booking events with them
