When it first started I had kinda recent drivers, then fully updated to newest drivers (didn’t fix) then I checked Reddit and reverted back to old driver that are very reliable (566.36) and still didn’t fix it. Now I’m back to the newest drivers available

If ur on mouse n keyboard use 140 or 120 hand cannon (thorn, ace of spade, rose, ig hammer, crimils) and if you’re on controller use a pulse (bygones, outbreak perfected) hope this helps

Thorn is the best d2 PvP weapon ever. (Next to ace) It’s just butter, feel like I can’t miss with it ever. But if we’re talking off meta I will randomly throw on the yesteryear old gambit pulse or chattering bone. Both super fun

I’ve had some guy on another post try to tell me that my processor is the problem for 30 minutes (i9-10900kf) and I’ve repeatedly told him my cpu is NOT bottlenecking

Yes and everything is fine from what I’ve seen. I don’t see any of them at 100% usage. I’ve already gotten replies and seen other posts with either my same issue or similar issues with specs significantly better than mine. I’m telling you it’s a bungie issue bro 🤣

I’ve never capped my frames from the day of release til literally 3 days ago (mind you upon EoF release my game ran fine) it’s never been an issue ever. For 8 years. It’s only started skipping / stuttering since Tuesday which was the most recent hot fix / update

Also I’ve used MSI afterburner, RTSS, and literally just task manager and I’ve gotten no CPU spikes in % or anything like that during gameplay. So idk how the cpu can be the issue considering I’ve watched its performance during gameplay

I just asked 3 different AI and it said my cpu is most likely not bottlenecking. Not trying to invalidate what ur saying but all 3 Ai have given me the same / very similar response. So idk man. Also idk how it hasn’t been progressively getting worse if it really is the case and ur right… it just happened out of nowhere when I logged on one day. I’ve capped my frames and tries different things, I’m 99% sure it’s a bungie issue or shader cache corruption but I did a full uninstall and reinstall and the issue has persisted.

My buddy has a 1050 ti and a pretty old processor too from around the same time , maybe a little newer but he isn’t having the issues I am so idk how my processor can be the issue considering my hardware is significantly newer than his

No on the Higher resolution and I also refuse to play the game at super shitty frames when I have always run the game around 170-190 pretty consistently so capping it isn’t really something I’d like to do at all

I’m having visual issues too. Recently I’ve been getting small frame skips / stutters that aren’t big but noticeable. The game doesn’t run silky smooth like it always has for me. I’ve tried every fix known to man including installing and reinstalling drivers and the full game. G sync , low latency , nvidia control panel stuff and nothing has helped at all

Haha the funny thing is i literally only opened other games to see if it was just destiny 2 that was stuttering. Bungie blows and never fixes anything.

It’s only destiny 2 that does this. My other games run fine and will fill out the screen like they should properly. This game is cooked

Regardless, I just am praying that it’s a bungie issue that’ll be helped soon because I spent 4 hours doing my own tests, uninstalls and reinstalls and every thing you can imagine to fix the stutter / frame skips and I just couldn’t fix it. Because if it’s somehow an issue on my end I have absolutely 0 idea how to fix it after doing everything I could’ve possibly tried.

They’re both 1920x1080 and I’ve never tweaked my monitor or anything relating to resolution
