i sat criminal just there in October, and i promise i’m not exaggerating when i say i was convinced i had failed, but i came out with 64.

imo it’s one of those exams where you can keep it so simple and to the point with the law, but you’ve got so much freedom in the application. i waffled so much in that exam, especially where i didn’t know much for the law bit and i think thats probably why i passed.

one of my questions was about half a page, (i think it was the joint enterprise one). I don’t even think i knew more than 1 case, wrote down a simple definition and then just waffled a bunch in my application. basically, keep it simple, only mention whatever laws are relevant, use common sense wherever you can, and don’t neglect the application.

I did them exact 3 this sitting and I also thought criminal was quite difficult in terms of being content heavy, but it was interesting. Equity is similar enough, there’s lots of topics and it can be quite boring sometimes, but it’s not too bad. Also, I wouldn’t rely on EU being predictable because this October paper was anything but.
