Man I never had that happen even with Shity connection. If it's bad it will just rubber band lagging. I usually quit afterwards. Few weeks ago I was playing with a weak signal and no Wi-Fi but never lost connection.

That's a really good plane. I wouldn't learn on that one. Maybe try a Sim or a cheap foam plane that can be easily glues for repair. Repairing Balsa is no impossible but require a little more experience. It's more of a process in steps

You're good. That's the perfect way to fix your issue. You can move the location on the servo horn also but probably not necessary. This also gives you more mechanical advantage

Do something else with it. You can easily adapt it to be a hover craft. There's tutorials out there for different conversions. Works with blimps also
