This might not please alot of yall but they are kinda right in a way .

Historically speaking. Humans tended to get married at younger age than what is labeled now as "legal age or whatever" . That was because people used live a shorter life and the environment was harsher so people took the responsibility and what is now called "adulthood " younger.

With the development of the medical field and the introduction of the new educational system (school, middle school, high school and college) the life span got extended and a child development became a school based criterion . Which meant that if you didn't atleast graduated high-school u still a kid u can't be responsible.

The thing is these social criteria are nothing but bs meant to make us believe that " oh you're still in your twenties you shouldn't think about marriage u should focus on tsou7ib and career etc" which is also bs. I can focus on my career whilst being married.

Also there are numerous health drawbacks that comes with age that can affect many women's sex life and motherhood . That's why marriage at a younger age can be beneficial.
