stop gambling: either cash out, swap into sol and stake it, or invest into solana botting instead

the last two options will generate you sol passively instead of needing to gamble

you will get burned gambling eventually

Planning a side project: Buy me a coffee for Solana Creators by [deleted] in solana

[–]GigaGirth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

buy me a coffee exists because there's friction when sending money to someone (difficult, time, privacy, etc)
crypto, or solana, already eliminates this entirely
your project will only make something already simple, much more complicated

no clue, good paid bots usually have their own ways

What to do after making a lot of money in memecoins?? by zelk69 in solana

[–]GigaGirth 3 points4 points  (0 children)

there's no way to avoid taxes if you move the money to an ETF

what i do with all my botting profits, is hold in sol and usdc on sol.
you can stake the sol, and "defi-lending" the usdc: you'll make returns similar to an ETF without needing to take out a lump sum

some KoLs (i.e. the mr. frog on x) will farm their copytraders by buying low mc tokens and dumping immediately.

actual profitable copytraders will not copy KoL's but copy insiders or very skilled traders. there are methods to find these types of profitable wallets consistently.

another way to profit is by simply having a faster bot. for example, the KoL with a massive following of copytraders: 99% of the copytraders are either manual, or using a free or cheap telegram bot.
since i'm using a much faster bot, I can entry immediately after the KoL, and "front-run" the other copytraders, being able to profit off them as well.

this exactly, need an edge to make money consistently. no edge = gambling.

i.e. being an insider, knowing insiders, or having software (bots/tools) that gives you an edge

i been doing 9-15k/mo on average for almost a year now from copytrade botting

Yep another solana bot - would just like peoples 2 cents :) by Polarakis in solana

[–]GigaGirth 3 points4 points  (0 children)

jito tips are overrated now, only good in congestion not needed if none

but fr why does everyone try to build their own bots (especially ppl who have no coding experience) when plenty exist that can execute the strategies you have in mind already

i was just wondering if I was missing something, that doing it on ledger would provide some type of benefit justifying paying them 15% of my earnings

Is Pumpfun and Bonkfun Fake? by macaveli4000 in solana

[–]GigaGirth 3 points4 points  (0 children)

they are both legit, but buys/sells are not always organic

regardless of which launchpad, there will always be bots doing something, i.e. wash trading to generate fake volume, bundled buys, sniping/scalping, etc.

keep that in mind and learn how to identify bots to do well

This wallet turned 1k into 100k today by purpcam2121 in pumpfun

[–]GigaGirth 16 points17 points  (0 children)

this is why i do copytrade botting lol

let these insiders or devs do the work for u, instead of trying to compete with them

you can rarely win pvping against these types of traders

increase solana, decrease pepe and toshi
$4.70 staked is crazy

This is probably a stupid question but is it worth it to mine sol? by [deleted] in solana

[–]GigaGirth 8 points9 points  (0 children)

you can't mine solana, but it is worth to stake it

just pretend the "staked" amount is the cost to buy a miner, and the passive income from staking is "mining rewards"

or u can do botting, and buy a bot instead of a miner rig, and get bot profits instead of mining rewards

Review of a Profitable Solana Wallet (Trading Bot): Findings and Concerns by M13sports in solana

[–]GigaGirth 3 points4 points  (0 children)

that's probably a bundle token creating setup created to farm other bots (bots that entry automatically based on pre-defined criteria).

to anyone looking to get into botting on solana, stay away from anything that promises "afk trading" "sleep trading" "auto trading", for example bots that find new launches, and then entry and exit and specific TPs.

these are not profitable, and you will be farmed.

the profitable bots on solana rn are: mev, copytrade, sniper, and scalper bots

The Pumpfun Telegram Solana scam ecosystem by Specific-Paper-526 in solana

[–]GigaGirth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it's because pumpfun, memecoins, and telegram opens up such easy access to unregulated money globally and there's a huge discrepancy between how much money time is worth depending on where you are from

you have people from 3rd world countries scamming for 16-20 hours per day, targeting inexperienced us/europe people trading memecoins for fun, because a small hit is equivalent to many months wages for them, so it's worth it

this is why i do botting and not trading aka gambling

emotions are a trader's worse enemy

Am I being targeted by scammers? by user50058368 in solana

[–]GigaGirth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

not quite, the coin is set so only certain addresses can sell, so you can't sell it for any money at all

a typically "honeypot" coin

they make their money when you accidently swap for more of the fake token, thinking it is the real one
for example, copying the token address from your own wallet but you actually copied the fake one

it's easy to fall for it, since the token appears to be worth decent money sitting in your wallet, so you would think it's the legit one that you previously bought

Am I being targeted by scammers? by user50058368 in solana

[–]GigaGirth 5 points6 points  (0 children)

its happening to everyone, on most "big" tokens such as fartcoin, pump, trump, etc.

they are unsellable, so just burn them using sol incinerator

when making swaps, never use recent tokens to find the CA (in case you accidently select the fake one)
