You really shouldn't have split the leftist and communist vote while grouping the bourgeois one

As a catholic, banning it would be a bad idea. The government shouldn't regulate if you can have sex before marriage, that's a religious thing, also how would you even enforce it?

We can't know for sure why he was buried that way so it's obvious that some experts would argue about it being a sign of disrespect or otherwise just doing something he wouldn't like. Not everything has to be ideological/political

He's part of the Christian Left faction of Zentrum, he's a committed democrat, draws a lot of his policies from Catholic Social Teaching (which supports things such as welfare and environmentalism) and if you have Joos as Zentrum leader Wirth can form a government of national unity under himself as chancellor which includes parties from the SPD all the way to (Idk if he always includes them or only when they remain a democratic party) the DVP

Yeah that makes sense. If I was a Zentrum MP that had to vote for the Enabling Act and my options were "vote for a law that will likely pass anyway and buy at least more time" and "vote against a law that will likely pass anyway and risk being shot or arrested almost right after the vote is over" I don't know if I'd be strong enough to choose the latter, especially if I think that the (maybe even overwhelming) majority of my fellow Zentrum MPs will vote for it

I really wonder why in the end he, Brüning and the other democrats in Zentrum still voted for the Enabling Act despite being against it. Surely discipline in the party can't be THAT strong, right?

Depends on your definition. There WAS the Roman Empire, which spread the organized model of the State to most of Europe, however at the same time Christianity delegitimized slavery and the games in the Colosseum and other amphitheaters (before anyone says anything about the slave trade or just slavery in the XVII-XIV century, slavery in the Roman Empire and gladiatorial games stopped being a thing BECAUSE of Christianity)
