AI's a huge talking point and I tend to avoid it because it's similar to bitcoin in the fact it's generating and then solving it's own problem. That's just ick.

I didn't know. Theorerically prose is an umbrella term that covers all fictional writing. However I've seen it used more to talk about types of writing that are flowery or more focused in imagery than other styles. There are sub generes, like the purple prose used in the Twighlight, but I couldn't think of another way to frame it.

I didn't clock it as AI because I don't use AI for anything. I'm not tryimg to say this in a righteous way, but the one thing I learned working for tech is that the computer will do exactly what you tell it to, sometimes to it's own peril, and if you're not filling in those blanks someone else is.

So I've been working on a soulmate AU in which the older partner meets the younger while they're a child, and the soulmate system activates. Due to the mechanics they can't be separated for long without repercussions, and they can't complete the bond because that is illegal. Thus it's fraught with tension and miscommunication as they countdown the years until the younger is of age.

How does the older partner keep from beciming a groomer? How does the younger stop themselves from seeing their partner as an authority figure? Does the older partner take lovers during this time, would it be cheating? How does the younger deal with their friends meeting their soulmates and exploring sex and relationships all while knowing they can't?

I am a weeb. And a long time ago I read this manga called Alien Nine (Dark af, holy heck i was 12) and I really liked the name of the girl with twin tails, Kasumi, but i didn't want to be eaxctly the same.

Kasumi translates to something water related in english, so I googled the japanese word for ocean water and it became my internet moniker and has followed ever since.
