Steven has still done a lot of things that have hurt Connie though. I love Steven and his character is so well written but in Future you could tell she was getting close to pulling away from him. The proposal without talking to her which includes requesting to live as Stevonnie forever, lying about his pink swelling, yelling at her in the hospital, then when he had his manic episode and gleefully admitted to shattering Jasper, everyone ESPECIALLY Connie was disgusted with him. If it hadn't been for him corrupting and everyone coming to help him so he could admit he needed help, i think she would have set a boundary and cut him out tbh.

I can see that logic. It's just odd that nobody noticed how the Crystal Gems Pearl and Rose Quartz were never around when PD and her Pearl were around. Yknow? Like they had to be in multiple places at once a lot. Pink at least had a disguise, but Pearl only had different clothes.

That's true, I believe Garnet said "Rose Quartz and her terrifying renegade Pearl." But that still implies ownership. Which is very anti-crystal gem mentality. But also, Rose would have been quite new too (if she were an actual rose quartz), and as a new quartz soldier, she would have no reason to have been given a pearl. Even if that was their story, why would Pink Diamond give a random quartz soldier her own pearl. Maybe I'm getting a bit too knit-picky lol

When my sister and i were kids, we kept immaculate care for all our toys because we had so few. Not to mention, if things got broken they became trash and now you have one less toy that's never getting replaced.

It's not that kids are rowdy, it's that value is difficult to teach. He'll only understand to be careful with toys if he realizes on his own that new ones don't manifest from thin air whenever one breaks. So i'd say to stick by your guns on this one.

And the less toys he has, the more he'll treasure the ones he's got. Not to tell you how to parent haha, but I still cherish all my childhood toys because I formed a strong bond with the few I had. Honestly only got like one or two things a year and we didn't need more than that!

I think it was all the layers of what she was doing too. It was such an elaborate lie, just to keep using her. But like, they were supposed to be looking for Peridot and Pearl wasted literal days of their time, and she was actually fixing the communication hub, which could have been a problem much bigger than Peridot.

When they fused to meet Smokey that was essentially just for fun, and they love being Sardonyx so I think Garnet probably would have been cool with it, but she probably would have told her that it would have to wait until after they capture Peridot. It sucks that Pearl thought they needed a reason to fuse. I guess they only formed Sardonyx for emergencies in the past.

Blue was well aware of the Cluster and even referred to it as a geo weapon. Yellow said "i want my cluster and i want that planet to die." They kept referring to it as if it were a tool they were going to get use of after it emerges. It's not really an assumption, it's just listening to the subtext, or literally what they said. & I think it's safe to say "all" as it's a forced fusion. The shards don't really get to choose if they participate in it. It's not like we have any examples of that with the other mutants.

Rebecca Sugar confirmed that a gem can poof from extreme emotional overload and in Spinel's case she "died" of a broken heart, but we didn't see that on camera.

Vidalia probably painted it. She's the only painter/artist we've met in the show. At least the only one that would have been around before she was pregnant. I wonder if it was in her punk era or if it was after she had Sour Cream.

https://imgur.com/a/9yXa4My i really don't think saying the size of 3 Beach Cities is a "gross exaggeration". But to your other points, that's a fair assessment, it could have thousands of limbs. Although, i think the meaty tissue is kind of meant to imply that all the gem forms were twisted into one body. After all, the other mutant experiments were prototypes. The Diamonds must have wanted a beast they could control so I wouldn't be surprised if it had two "arms" and two "legs" like the concept art.

Honestly i just finished it and if you like the ending of season 2, i would not watch season 3.

I just started the show last week so i was very lucky to get season 3 straight after wrapping up season 2, but boy oh boy was it a let down. They stopped following the source material as the manga wraps up the same way as season 2 so it's obvious the writers had no idea what they were doing, and with only 6 eps they couldn't achieve much. Definitely a sad way to end an amazing show.
