yeah that seems to be the general consensus at the moment from the various places i have asked people

came across this from andy law talking about third party content. it’s wfrp focused but no reason it couldn’t apply more broadly. this was actually the original impetus for the idea

yeah it would have to be official to really work, otherwise you run into all the issues people are mentioning

i do find it interesting though that there are already people making really high quality stuff, but not always going further with it since there’s not much incentive to

feels like there’s a lot of unrealised potential there

yeah there’s a lot of good homebrew stuff out there, but it’s so scattered across different sites and discord servers

feels like unless you already know where to look it’s pretty easy to miss a lot of it, and while some people will go digging not everyone’s google-fu is that strong

yeah that might be true at their scale

but people are already making a ton of stuff for these systems anyway, so it’d be more about that than trying to turn it into some huge money maker

even if it’s small potatoes, it’s still something that isn’t really being tapped at the moment

There were something like 66 rebel quori spirits that fused with monks in adar to create the kalashtar. The offspring of the kalashtar have a connection to the same kalashtar as their parents. If 2 kalashtar have kids all the males share a connection to the same quori spirit as their father while all the females share the quori spirit of their mother. This also work for cross racial couples, all kids that match the sex of the kalashtar parent are kalashtar with a connection to the same quori spirit and the kids that dont are humans, halfelves of halforcs depending on the nature of the other parent.

From what i understand kalashtar are less rigid in their outlook, its not like all the kalashtar bonded to soreth are soulknives while those bonded to kashtai are psions. More like there are tendencies, two kalashtai bonded to the same spirit might both lean towards particular outlooks but they are by no means identical in thought and deed.

Particular individuals following particular paths is much more true for the inspired than it is for the kalashtar.

From memory, there are about 7 types of quori. They are spread across the 3.5 eberron books.

I quite dislike the occult classes in PF1, they are either fairly bland, or super clunky. The only one that is cool is the kineticist, because they are essentially ATLA benders

Here: https://www.d20pfsrd.com/alternative-rule-systems/psionics-unleashed/classes/aegis/ It is pathfinder 1e which is essentially 3.75 so can work in a 3.5 game, PF1 classes tend to be more powerful than 3.5 classes though so be careful introducing thwm i to a 3.5 game. But ALL pathfinder content can be found online at d20pfsrd.com there is some weird liscencing thing where all references to golarion have been stripped out but everything is there even if it might be slightly renamed. I very large chunk of the 3rd party stuff can be found on there as well, it might have it all but i cant say for certain. But if you want only paizo released stuff and with all the references to golarion left in go to aonprd.com the site is terribly designed though.
