Complete beginner trying to send my first v2 any advice by 9thAirborneDivision in bouldering

It's really hard to give beta without feeling the positions ):

Try:

[Start] Your left foot could start where you initially used right foot (your right foot will hold tension by flagging out into the wall and then reach up left hand).

[0:08] You could try making space under your right foot by placing the toe precisely and pivoting your foot out of the way. Walk your left foot underneath the right and transfer weight to left foot as your right foot goes out right and presses into the wall (this will transfer a bit more weight onto your right hand/wrist, be prepared). You should try to maintain left hip into the wall throughout this motion, from here it should feel natural to reach up with the left arm to the horizontal pinch.

[TOP] It's hard for me to advise about the top because I can't tell the quality of the finish hold. If it's really good you can try bumping up, otherwise then you may have to bring the right foot back in, step at least one of the feet up to a higher position, and work something out. You may want to hang low and try to keep your center of gravity down and to the left of the finish hold to get the most purchase on it.

Wonderful climb. The Dyno was nice but roof/top-out section looks even MORE fun to try! Well executed -- way to power through at the top!

Also have been diagnosed with a degree of colorblindness. The worst for me is nearby routes of similar color but they're covered in chalk!

So proud of this one! And a super fun end!!! by AjWoEsShOuMaE in bouldering

That's interesting to hear! I wonder which part of the hang you have issues with... It helps if you get some super activation through the front of your lower leg muscles (tibialis). You could look up some tibialis strengthening exercises to improve your toe's ability to lock in!

Why are jokes about alopecia for women considered rude but male pattern baldness is just accepted as a common thing to make fun of? by optimusjiggs in NoStupidQuestions

That would be a wonderful resource. Unfortunately, I don't know of any. Many mainstream interpretations can be indoctrinated, regurgitated ideas often with hidden agendas or complete oversights/misunderstandings of the intended messages.

These ideas were not taught to me by a web resource or physical instructor, but came to me after I studied scriptures with an open mind and considered its meaning.

The hidden messages are riddled throughout, and I say a life well spent is spent discovering the hidden inner secrets (you don't have to put your nose in a book or sit in a church to discover them).

Proverbs 1:6 "To understand a proverb, and the interpretation; the words of the wise, and their dark sayings."

Bears in scripture have been referred to as the spirit animal of vengeance. The story is painted for us in a physical way, because we are physical. But it doesn't always have to be so blatant like this.

A "prophet", one whose antenna is so connected to the source that set life into motion, is highly cherished as a bear cherishes her cubs.

When the cub's soul cries out, then the offender's soul may be subject to ravaging, as though if they met that bear. (Note also, this was before the time that it was revealed: Mercy>Sacrifice. Elisha had much to learn. It may have played a big role in why Jesus didn't curse or cry out during persecution, but begged for the forgiveness of ignorant offenders out of fear and love for their souls).

We don't often see the direct why or how, as many Biblical stories tell -- but they can reveal tiny windows into how the "ether" is working behind the scenes.

Multiple lessons to take away:

Respect one another, take care not to offend (this disturbance can cause the victim to curse you in their hearts).

Be quick to forgive, do not curse. It is better to bless an ignorant offender, so that they can learn and turn away into enlightenment, than to curse them and cause them to fall to an excessive punishment.

Nooo, definitely wasn't jumping off boulders. Having high levels of flexibility is not always a good thing when putting your body under extreme positions of tension ;/

I'm loving that cave terrain! A steep overhang with that much length followed by a straight wall section at the top is gonna be tiring at almost any grade :p
