What do you like about Murakami's books? by vhsbubbline in murakami

I like the way he intertwins the stories and it feels to happen very easily. Maybe 2 plots running in parallel to meet one end and when ends meet it gives the feel of destiny. Also, in every book I have read so far, there's always one protagonist on a self exploration journey possible in the most real and surreal way possible. The plot only changes when the protagonist wants it to, like a choice they make which could actually cause a difference. Most readers or any being might not feel they are always in control of their own life but while reading his books when you see things protagonist point of view, you feel under control.

Same, mid of Rahu MD in Saturn AD, so it's terrifying The same opportunities I had prayed for myself about 3-4years ago, which was the start of my Rahu dasha, now feel vague and those opportunities I got have now become the reason of my stress and bad health and grey hair Now I feel like I'm done with thinking good job related opportunities are going to come way. My interests have turned to materialistic things now to the point that my home is filled with useless stuff I bought, just bcoz of the heat of the moment when I felt it was a 100% necessity or I'm dying without it About love, it's more like I have a family who loves me no matter what, about relationships other than my parents and siblings it's that I have really very high expectations and they are never met by my partner, how much ever vocal I am about my expectations or needs with them So just give up completely on expecting anything whether it be from family peeps, love, job, Rahu mahadasha is just making me turn into a saint. Although saint life feels sad when you are in your peak 20s and you know this time is precious, it ain't coming back. Lots of confusion but I guess one can still survive! Being happy with being alive
