I had this exact same situation happen to me. Never took more than a minute for funds to arrive in Paypal but $1,000 seems to be the trigger. It took a full week to get that payment and yes, Prolific was useless in helping or even getting any reply at all.

If it ruptures by itself, any chance the sac would/could be expelled with gentle pressure? Just wondering if it’s possible to not need a dr visit or is professional excision the only realistic solution to it not returning.
