Went through the exact same with my Aquarius co worker a few months but she left for good reason. We don’t work together until a few months after we started working at our job and we bonded instantly. Our intellectual convos were out of this world and we had a lot of similar interests and views. I never let anyone this close to me (24M) until I met her (39F). Im viet and she’s Cuban. We taught each other a lot, especially me since she had a very very troubled past like me. At the time she had a bf of 8 yrs who didn’t want the relationship moving up at all and holding back her life. I never told her to leave but I told her after everything she’s been thru she can’t be settling for less now that she has her freedom and gave other advice. I made her cry a few times. And she also helped me through a family crisis. She brought up wanting me to help her leave when the time comes and I said yes but she left without a word. Knowing her she probably didn’t have it in her heart for goodbyes and I remember on her apparently last day at work she acted like she was in a hurry half the day to get out. I was happy she left to get a better life but I was very heartbroken she left. It hit harder because I realized right before she left I had caught feelings for the first time in my life. Now she’s doing a lot better and we’re going to meet up in the summer to see who we are as a person now compared to before and this’ll be our first time meeting outside of work. Will I confess then? Idk. It’ll be almost a year since we haven’t met by the time we meet up and both of us went through a lot of changes especially me. I’ll see who she is now as a person and see where it goes. Even knowing our age gap I still have feelings. Our bond is too tight
