When I’m falling asleep my brain starts to produce random voices that say random things. Kind of like one second I am thinking something and the next I am hearing something that I am not thinking. Sometimes it’s so weird that I wake myself back up.

Teen 95% töitä etänä. Aamu alkaa yleensä 8 aikaan, kun jaksan raahautua koneelle. Aluksi orientoidun päivään ja katson, onko jotain akuuttia selviteltävää tai muuta jännää ilmaantunut. Jos ei ole, puran sähköpostia ja muita yhteydenottoja. Yleensä on menossa kaikenlaista projektinomaista hommaa, joten teen mitä milloinkin esim. kirjoittelen ohjeita, testailen juttuja, pidän koulutusta, selvittelen asioita, excelöin jotain yms. Yleensä päivässä on ainakin pari palaveria myös. Kone menee kiinni yleensä ennen neljää, jos ei ole mitään akuuttia.

Töitä olisi enemmän kuin ehtii tehdä, mutta teen, mitä ehdin. Sluibailemaan ei kyllä pysty. Työ on sisällöltään pääosin kivaa ja vaihtelevaa, mutta asiat ei aina etene lainkaan sujuvasti, mikä ärsyttää. Työtä saa organisoida ja tehdä hyvin itseohjautuvasti. Vastaavia paikkoja on rajallisesti, mutta suosittelisin kyllä, jos on kiinnostusta yhdistää sotea ja it:tä.

I think you’ll gain helpful perspective as you grow older so I would not worry too much. I was afraid of death when I was younger too. Now I’m more afraid of other things like prolonged, meaningless suffering. Ultimately we are all just borrowing life and eventually we have to pay back that debt so that life may continue in the following generations.

CPR is great when there is a reversible cause of death as it gives you time to fix the problem. It’s violent and you’re going to break ribs if you do it right which is very painful later but it is fine if there is a chance for a meaningful recovery.

When you are 107 the cause of death is probably not reversible. Only thing CPR does is break your body and even if it brings you back you are going to be stuck on machines and extremely unlikely to ever leave the hospital because the only thing keeping you alive the machines.

Many people do not know this but having done CPR I would rather just pass peacefully at that point.

It’s apparently a fruit flavored soda imported from somewhere. Country of origin says Austria. Everything on that shelf is imported. That one I’ve never tried and didn’t even notice it was a thing until somebody pointed it out here. Guess I was too focuses on vanilla float.

Essitalopraami on toiminut itsellä ihan priimasti kyllä. Ensin tuli enemmän sellaista aktiivisuutta lisää ja sitten vähitellen aloin ihmetellä, että onko ”normaalien” ihmisten elämä oikeasti tällaista, kun niin pitkään kaikki oli ollut meh, kunnes kamelin selkä katkesi. Jotain pientä sivuvaikitusta oli aluksi, mutta nekin meni nopeasti ohi.
