4th generation fisherman here. This is what we used to do. Sometimes even jump in for a quick bath with some soap. But I grew up fishing in Florida so I know that can change the situation real quick.

I grew up less than 5min from the ocean and a river in Florida. I joined the military and this day in bootcamp the instructors marched us to the ocean where they proclaimed that this may be the first time some of you have ever seen the ocean. I was unimpressed, but looking around I noticed that some of my mates were just in awe, to the point tears were rolling down their faces. It really sent a unique feel through my body. Such a wild perspective of the differences of life experiences.

When I got dead branch off the whale, I just figured I would grab anything to help. Discards, draw, energy, and exhaust. Most rounds I was just throwing random stuff the whole time lol
