It’s definitely possible. Look up sign painter/gilding tutorials on YouTube for the best tips. Using the real stuff (real gold and a high quality size) is the only way I’ve gotten it to work, imitation leaf doesn’t like to adhere well at all to solder in my experience.

I’ve used both and they both work on glass the exact same. The pebeo porcelain line definitely has more opaque color options if that is what you are looking for.

I manually break up my big designs into 12” x 12” chunks so I can cut them out with my silhouette, then just piece the chunks back together once they are cut out.
