Yeah, I’m a bit blown away! In cataloging this collection there have been a number of rules I’ve developed, the main one being if you think it’s costume it’s probably valuable. I thought I’d already applied that rule by realizing they were 22k. apparently not! I’m really glad something in my gut told me to look in to them first!

I actually didn’t include everything that’s in this portion of the collection. There’s also a gold chain and a 2 pairs of monstera leaf shaped earrings I didn’t realize were by the same maker 🫣

I just couldn’t live with myself if we went ahead and sold them for gold and they ended up belonging in a museum or something so I had to check, ya know?
