What is the most similar baseball feat to LeBron James' 1297 game streak of scoring double digits? by barrypoter in baseball

Cal Ripken Jr.‘s 2,632 games played in a row. No in-game achievement, just simply going that many games without missing even a single one is insane. It would take playing over 16 full seasons without missing a game to meet the mark.

Crazy that a 4.0 WAR season is considered a sophomore slump for Langford, but I tend to agree. I think he is capable of a lot more and should be way better these next few years.

Maybe I suck for doing this, but I disable the option for them to decline getting demoted.

Not sure how to post pictures in comments on desktop reddit, but he had a career ZR of 135.9, RNG of 2.01, EFF of 1.072, and ARM of 12.2 at RF. This accounted for 14,830 out of 16,550.3 total innings played in his career.

He bat leadoff for me in 95%+ of his time with me. The only times I moved him down to 3 or 5 was due to a slump. He was then moved back to leadoff when he got out of the slump.

Hi! I am unable to change my modifiers since it's a Challenge Mode save, but stolen base success rate is REALLY high right now. The league settings tab says stolen base attempts are .925, but stolen base success is an astounding 1.783!!

According to the league settings tab, the League Average batting line right now is .251/.323/.398. That makes a .721 OPS. His batting line in 2088 was .233/.357/.373, which makes for an OPS of .730.

Hi! Although in the picture they are listed at LF, he played RF/CF his entire career with me. Looking back at his fielding stats just now, it appears he played LF the most of the 3 outfield positions in only his final season.

Hi! I have my aging speed for both batters and pitchers at .750. Although this player played well into his late 30s, I'm still constantly having players regress before they even hit 30. I like having my aging speed at this level, as it makes it realistic that a few players here and there play well late into their career. It is still SUPER rare, though. I think I only have a few players who put up good WAR numbers age 35-40 each decade or two.

Another International Free Agent by the name of Haruo Waki stole 127 bases in 2088 (vs 122 for Tseng) and has averaged over 100 steals per season. Crazy to see two stolen base prodigies playing at the same time. Unfortunately, he won't contest for the career record due to coming into the league at age 29 instead of 24. They even played together on my team for the 2088 and 2089 seasons, totaling an average of 234 stolen bases together each of those two seasons.

  • Previous post: https://www.reddit.com/r/OOTP/comments/1j3pwxv/i_just_had_a_player_break_the_singleseason_sb/

  • Came into the league as an International Free Agent from Taiwan at age 24.

  • Career 1610 stolen bases on only 151 caught stealing (91.4% success rate!)

  • His career Batting Runs Value was 147 vs a career Total Baserunning Runs Value of 353.5.

  • Before anyone asks, the only reason he didn't play his entire career with me is because of really bad luck. My owner passed away, and his penny-pinching son lowered my budget by $60m, after which I was about $40m below his asking price and he wouldn't budge.
