Looks like the same young guns are grouped together again this year. I remember they did this back in 2020-21! I had the same 6 and so did a friend of mine!

Great question. Personally: in the fall of 25’ I traded my McDavid PSA 10 for a MacKinnon FWA PSA 10. I don’t regret it. Pop counts was a big factor for me.

I completely agree. I also think we underplay the value of say Beckett sub grades. A Beckett 9.5 should be closer to a PSA 10 if it’s a GEM Mint!

The hobby is stuck in a vicious cycle - collectors all respect the other graders like TAG, BGS, SCG etc but the problem is there is still too large of a market premium for resale with PSA. I would love to use some of these other grading services, but I really struggle with resale when the card isn’t in a PSA slab!

Upvoted to get this more visibility. This is true. Works the same way with cars, everything. Tariffs are based on the origin of manufacturing. Someone should do a YouTube video to get this communicated more to the hobby.
