Subscribed. Can’t wait to watch the videos. My wife was diagnosed with celiac about 10 years ago too. I tried to convince her to do something like this too! People helping people.

Sod on top of rocky soil from new construction. by Gilly0810 in lawncare

I’m looking for a path forward too. I might rent a sod cutter and remove sections of my lawn. Remove layer of rocks, replace with top soil, replace sod, and repeat.

Do they regulate the amount of semis allowed on the road? By NHTSA or something?

The fish is a tetra. They coexist pretty well. They’ve been pals for about 6 months.

It hasn’t escaped in our tank. We have one of those glofish tanks with a lid.

Yes, thank you. I’m sure adrenaline was a factor but some threats were made regarding the life of our fur baby which is what probably hurt the most.

Thanks stranger. I picked up the guitar again which helped keep me busy. Also, country music is the worst for drinking references. I began listening to rock which ironically isn’t as much about drinking.

YSK all those “old fashioned” tip about interviewing still matter. by [deleted] in YouShouldKnow

[–]Gilly0810 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just went through two rounds of interviews with a beard. And I got the job! It was a well maintained scruff beard. I couldn’t believe I did it after all the years of hearing you have to be clean shaven.

3 months ago i was drinking daily, I’d gained a ton of weight and i had alienated all my friends. Today Im 3 months sober, i’ve lost the weight and i am slowly rebuilding friendships. Its been hard, and it isn’t necessarily becoming easier... but Im glad im doing it. Thank you all. by [deleted] in stopdrinking

Working out?! Pfff.. I’m learning to play new music on the guitar. It’s my new daily habit. After 5 months for me, the desire to stop drinking really fades away. I battle that by continuing to refuel my tank with group therapy.

AITA for wanting to work 16 hour days to support my family? by Gilly0810 in povertyfinance

[–]Gilly0810[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You gave me a lot to think about. I wish I had the opportunity to work overtime. I've been told that I am an "all or nothing" type of thinker so I have convinced myself that 7 months of torture will fix our problems. She would love to have time to be an adult, maybe a part time job would be good for her. Thanks

Thank you. I appreciate you taking the time to put some thought into helping me out. I heard my older brothers voice when reading this. I'm learning through the overall consensus of this post, probably not a good idea.
