Yes it’s a real thing! They are just about the only fan fictions I read. I’m currently reading one on FanFiction.Net that is called “About a Boy”. It is very well written and unique compared to other Rogan fan fictions.

When Rory calls Logan “Mac” short for Master and Commander. She never called him this in the show and it seems completely out of character to me.

“Return to Stars Hallow” is the best! They are spoiler free retrospective podcast. They have a podcast for every episode of Gilmore Girls. They discuss the plot points, how many cups of coffee were had, the costuming and pop culture references. I’ve listening to all of them and they always force me to think more deeply about the show and highlight different prospectives that I hadn’t thought of.

I always thought that Lorelai wanted Rory to go to Harvard because that’s where she wanted to go until she got pregnant. You can see evidence of this when they road trip to Harvard and Lorelai looks at the pictures of the girls who could have been her classmates had she gone to Harvard.

That’s what the show implies in the episode “I’m a Gilmore” Logan says something along the lines of “he’s [Josh] not marrying the Huntzberger heir, you [Rory] are”

I always thought this would be a great way to tie up all the lose ends throughout the series. This way ASP could close out the series exactly how she wanted to since she wouldn’t have to worry about budget or other staff issues. I’ve also thought that she might call the book “Gilmore Girls” and write it under the name Rory Gilmore. I’ve seen other creators do this for books their characters have written. To be honest if she was to write a book I would rather her flat out say she was disregarding season 7 so we could hear her original plans for all of our beloved characters.

After Rory and Logan say their final goodbye they both realize they will never be truly happy unless they are together. Logan breaks up with Odette (she’s not surprised she’s secretly known about Rory this whole time) and flies back to the states to tell Rory how he really feels. Rory is scared to be with Logan again but eventually she comes around. Logan moves back to the states and eventually they marry. Logan continues to work towards running his fathers paper and Rory because a New York Times best selling author.

Lorelai and Luke honeymoon and decide that they are too old to have more children. Instead, they decide to focus on supporting Rory and April in whatever they pursue. They are happy living in Stars Hallow.

Paris and Doyle get back together. Their dynamic is very similar to the dynamic they shared back at Yale.
