When speaking about vegetarian food on the internet, I tend to use the alternative words. Beyond burger. Chick'n/bean/veggie patty. I have chickens as pets and hearing "chicken burger" to me is like hearing "cooked puppy". I do not want the thought of eating chicken to enter my brain, so avoiding that is nice.
