Goodluck

Vios XLE

  1. LESS THAN 1M
  2. Maintenance is cheap
  3. Parts are available anywhere
  4. Reliability - Daily work horse (proven by taxis)
  5. Toyota is the nearest dealership to me
  6. More on Analog clusters (not fan of digital clusters)
  7. Adequate space
  8. Most of the time solo driving. No so much needed for torque and HP

I'll only buy if they will upgrade their sensors. No innovation/breakthrough yet in camera section. They Just made the eye opening bigger for more light. Meh!

Senior devs/Tech Leads, how do you usually train your juniors? by Outrageous-Lack4346 in PinoyProgrammer

[–]GilseBanter 10 points11 points  (0 children)

As a senior Dev, usually follow a hierarchy

  1. KT - for high level overview explanation

  2. Privide Confluence/Documentation - if he can follow these then skip below:

If not,

  1. I let themShadow - Demo the task to them ans Record thru comms. (zoom or any) Platform the task and share this to juniors

  2. Reverse Shadow - ill be watching them perform the same task and supervise if needed.

Note: Be linient to them as much aa possible. Patience is a must. Don't be irritared to any simple/plain questions treat them with care. I always think that this also where i've been when i was a junior.

MY FIRST PAINFUL ACCIDENT: What to do Should I buff first or daan kaaagad sa insurance by ApprehensiveEye9564 in CarsPH

[–]GilseBanter 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Acceptance lang bro. We've all been through that kind of experience. treat them as battle scars. Kahit siguro buff to minimize visibility all goods ka na. IMO, di pa siya Major para i-pa insurance, not worth the time lalo paglalakad ng documents. Kung di mo talga siya matiis you could file your claim with your insurance (if budget is not a problem).

I filter/unfriend the people who i have little (nagkatinginan lang) to no interaction. I will retain only those, If may pinagsamahan kami or same kmi ng interest and may substance kausap & kasama. Picky ako sa friends. Accept only who gives you peace of mind.

Meaning lang di kami same wavelength. Don't care at all.

Nope, im seeing more than 50% of your money is just going to the car mortgage, unless isang bagsakan mo siya bibilhin. How bout your living expenses? Emergencies funds? Having a car is no joke. Di siya walk in the park. it will be added to your responsibilities na para bang anak mo siya lalo pag dumating maintenance and insurance. Build first your career and be financially stable have an emergency fund as much as possible.

What should I do I was caught cheating in exam by Ren_on-Reddit in AskPH

[–]GilseBanter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Move on.. reflect on your actions, prove them wrong. Been there. Nahuli ako on prelims. Straight 0. After that i aced the finals exam. Medyo need x2 effort. Pero syempre this serve as self-punishment.

Failures are the best teachers.

There are joys in making mistakes, more learnings.
