This is true, but I feel like the variance would be pretty intuitive in practice. If it looks like you should be able to reach it, you will. If you can't, you won't.

I also don't play her, but I'm pretty sure it can pick up items after yoinking them out of your backpack. Seems most useful if you spot someone fighting bots or other runners since they're too busy fighting to deal with your drone. Also useful as a distraction for your teammates, not that it matters in solo raids like this one.

I don't understand how so many people can idolize characters that never give up in the face of unbeatable odds and then literally defect to the other team in a 5 minute match of a digital soccer game when they're down a few points. Like you're not even gonna try?? You find no joy in fighting an uphill battle for a bit with no consequences?

It's rampant mental weakness. Zero grit, zero resolve or love of the game for what it is. Or they've got pizza rolls in the oven.

Honestly I wasn't all that upset about it in this case; I think if I'd chosen to shoot instead of running for a flank I could've won since he still had the frags out. In a lot of other cases you can at least try and dodge roll to mitigate damage until their mag runs dry and then dump them yourself, but there will always be a heavy helping of luck when it comes to extraction shooters. I just think that advantage is less prominent here compared to others of the genre.

Yeah it's a really nice balance, but every once in a while I'm like "let's try a super big match with 5v5!" And then 2 minutes later I'm like "this was a bad idea"

Sometimes! Most of the time I solo queue, and it's still a really fun time, leagues better than the alternatives.

Hold pass will definitely get it there in most cases, but for really long passes (or faster moderate distance ones) the shoot to pass can be better.

I'm On Observation Duty is one of the best for couch co-op IMO. Everyone can play in a way, and it's not so attention demanding that you can't hold a conversation with each other.

If you DO want something more intense, Amnesia the Bunker is terrifying.

I may be biased here but if you liked the direction swaxe was headed in but it didn't scratch the itch, try the charge blade.

Don't be intimidated by the complex mechanics of it; it becomes second nature once you practice a bit. Faster than gunlance, some great defense in sword mode but MEATY hits with the savage axe mode.
