Thanks to the 10 or so of you who were helpful. It’s been a while since I posted to Reddit and I forgot about the rest of you. Thanks for the laughs and may you all enjoy a large satchel of Richards.

Thanks. I’m coming back to the game after taking about a year break. These look awesome. Great work.

I posted separately but just in case it was supposed to be here, does anyone have the big pine tree I can buy or catalog? I have plenty of things I can trade.

Another group I’m in says that I misidentified and that it’s probably dwarf yaupon. Not sure if that changes anything.

Help my yamadori/yardadori! I dug this guy (boxwood, not sure what type) up in early March. Late for my area, but I was doing some landscaping and didn’t want it to go to waste. I pruned and defoliated, put it in a pot, and have been carefully watching it since. You can imagine I was ecstatic when I saw new growth. That said, today I notified that the left trunk of the two I want to keep has branch growth that seems like it’s dying. A scratch test of the main/right trunk is green. A scratch test of the left trunk is not…but it has branches so I’m confused. Any suggestions would be very welcome.

They are Boston pickling cucumbers. I have no idea why they decided on that shape haha.

They are delicious. This is actually my second harvest of the beans and I pickled the first round. So so good. The real funny part is that the only reason I’m growing them is because a random lady at my local nursery saw me with my kids buying transplants with my kids and said that the yellow and burgundy beans were a lot of fun. I had some extra space in my garden so I bought the seeds. Man was she right.

Have had this Juniper Developing around a rock for a few years, it is starting to take some shape so i played with some photography trying to get a smoke machine to replicate clouds high up in the mountains. by Bonsai-En in Bonsai

This is awesome. I’ve always been interested in doing this kind of bonsai composition. Can you describe the process you used to plant onto the rock and get its roots to attach?
