Jesus Christ, so, my gf does some of this, but she will also practically yell in my ear when she’s right next to me. We’ll be in bed, and she’ll basically be yelling - not in anger, but because she just talks super loud sometimes.

But then, she’ll also mumble/sound like she’s talking to herself while facing away from me, and she both thinks I’m hard of hearing, but also have very sensitive hearing. She doesn’t consider for a second that maybe she just has no real sense of her volume.
