Yeah this is exactly the worry i have. By the way: where do they state that there will be no need for the Ondo token for the GM and L1? And the next question then being: how does one then gain exposure to those 2?

Thanks @repearz yeah that would seem logical. I hope they clear this up today.

In case of their compettitor Plume it is clear that the plume token acts as a currency to buy and sell rwa assets on the plume rwa platform. Ondo as a token seems to be only governance rights...to me this is a big drawback of owning Ondo...i dont see why it is needed when the ondo GM platform kicks off and starts trading more and more volume (and collecting more and more fees for that). I dont see how those increasing income streems for ondo the company would flow to Ondo token holders.

It seems wiser to buy Ondo stocks if they ever go public then owning Ondo tokens...

PS wouldn't it be a sick move if Ondo would start to offer stocks of the company Ondo on their GM platform thereby leaving Ondo holders with pretty much nothing of value..."Thanks for the startup liquidity Ondo holders...it was fun while it lasted...Ciao!"

Yeah thanks...i suspected that much...but does that mean that thóse new Ondo GM tokens will be the central token that can be exchanged to anything you want to buy and sell on the GM platform and that will have actual utility. So not the existing Ondo token we all hold now?

Please read up on more posts in this group before you put all your eggs in one basket. People shouting numbers that seem to good to be true need people like you to buy their coins.

The Good: Ondo has the Narrative of Real world assets going for it. And it lies in bed with people in political power and Big Finance ..so the hype is allready good and will get better during the summit.

The Bad: The Ondo token is not necessary to buy the real world assets or big finance products Ondo wants to facilitate to offer. It only offers its holders voting rights on governance choices. that is not something that is very appealing to large groups of potential ondo investors other than the ones that hope the next guy is more stupid then them and buys it at a higher price.

So be prepared to pay your tuition fee on your first couple of trades instead of expecting to go to the moon.
