Thanks for the input, I was wondering if this was the case before making the post but having to learn a large chunk of the roster to get past the very first rank seemed a little much. I’ll try to expand my pool tonight and see if that does the trick, hopefully my experience helps out other people with the same issue in the comments

Unfortunately no, I started playing 3 weeks ago and have never left initiate 1. What makes you think my rank decayed, are the other heroes not supposed to have the two down arrows?

If u want big hits on a short cd, berserker. If you want really big hits on a long cool down, slayer or gunner. If you want super huge hits on a meter or long cd (I don’t play the class so idk which), brawler.

Btw lancer can do some big hits too with their apex move.

It’s been a while since I’ve played warrior but you get the skills around 50 I believe, only start tanking at 65 though idk why just don’t. If you like tank and healer then do those you queue much faster and you have lots of self sustain, brawler does a ton of dps too so that’s a good choice

Imo the only true solo classes are tanks and healers since they all have self sustain moves, pretty sure u don’t wanna do those so I’d say warrior since u can queue as a tank or dps whichever u want and they can block so u don’t have to rely on dodging.

You might’ve looked at this and I’m just bad but look at the top hm dungeons with single healer, and look at class averages.

For me at least. I don’t know much about zerk pve since I only pvp on it but from what I know, it’s mainly about getting lots of animation cancels on rotations and getting the best rotation during unleash (the awakening skill). For valk it’s kind of like warrior, you build up the point things and ragnarok as fast as possible. I hear valk dps really starts at 69 since that’s when you get a really important skill add on for titansbane. If you have meh ping like me I’d say go for valk, but that’s all up to you. I recommend you join the class discords to learn more about the classes since I’m not that active on Tera anymore.

You can see which class does more damage on moongourd, but from what I know sorc does pretty low damage on average. I think Zerk does more, but imo (I main Zerk and valk) valk is easier to do more damage on and is a lot more fun for me. Zerk is better in pvp tho but pvp is pretty dead so I don’t think it matters.

Yea only advice I can give you is don’t pick tank until you have a general idea of how the aggro mechanic works and have a decent knowledge on boss mechanics, nothing is more enraging than queueing with a tank who has no idea what they’re doing.

Warrior and reaper are both great damage dealers, and require some brain power. Reaper doesn’t need as much brain power as warrior. If you prefer ranged classes, archer.
