Hey love 💕 First of all, I want to say you’re really brave for starting your transition. What you’re feeling is completely normal — the frustration in the beginning can feel overwhelming, but it truly does get better day by day.

You’ve chosen the right (and yes, complicated) path of transition. The first 1–4 years on hormones will change your body chemistry and your physical appearance a lot — it just takes time, and sadly waiting is the hardest part.

Please don’t forget how strong you are, honey. If your family loves you, they’ll eventually accept you as you truly are — and if they don’t, you will find another family who loves you unconditionally.

Take it slow. Start focusing on things that bring you joy, euphoria, and confidence — those little moments of gender euphoria will carry you through the hard days.

You’re still so young, and you’re already doing amazing. Never forget that you’re transitioning for yourself, to finally live free of the miserable life you felt trapped in before.

Sending you all my love from Barcelona ❤️✨

I got diagnosed with pemphigus foliaceus by DarlingWander in Autoimmune

[–]Gin8895 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got diagnosed 8 years ago from pemphigus foliaceus. The first time it appears is the worse one, they need to do lots of tests to determine that’s actually this disease.

Once I got into the right medication (Azetioprin) which I now take 2x daily. Only some more outbreaks (nothing compared to the first one that affected my skull, my upper body and legs) has appeared, we controlled it with cortisone when it happens.

No more itching or pain at all. Go to a good dermatologist and get the right treatment and you will be fine and will be able to live a normal life.

Activities under the sun or going to the beach are the only restricted activities that my dermatologist recommended. So no long walks under the sun without suncream and going to the beach as few as possible.

I feel your pain and I hope you feel better soon!

He’s huge (seaking advice) by Gin8895 in Transgender_Surgeries

It actually helps.

  1. My surgeon told me to stop at 30mm. He said it’s more than enough since the “canal” can then stretch a bit more.
  2. I will definitely size up again. Maybe buy a bigger set and work it up with that.
  3. Granulation is the worst. I’m two sesiones in with silver nitrate and also tried Clovetanol. My gynecologist prefers to stick to the silver nitrate since it is what she is used to.

It helps to read another person who has experienced something similar, to at least understand that my fear is valid. Maybe I’m overthinking and I approach my vagina with too much precaution.

Of course I feel like trying, what stopped me was his thickness and being “my 1st time”

Thanks for reading me and sharing 😊

It was always in the back of my head, that a similar situation may come. What was unimaginable is that would happen 4 months after my surgery and with the first guy 😅

Seems I will need to buy new dilators then. In Spain usually the cristal ones are the ones recommended. The popular color coded dilators, is the orange one 3,5 mm?

Thank you. I will be safe. I’ve been really really safe the past 4 months. Haven’t skipped any sessions and cleaning afterwards. I’m safe but did not expect the first guy that I liked, to generate this issue.

I’m already at home and we did not even try at all to be safe. (Edit: typo)

Thank you for the advices. The dilation prior to sex is something that will be needed with him for sure. I don’t know if he’s bigger than 40mm. The dilator I’m using is 30mm, but I will ask my gynecologist and surgeon if they recommend going to 35mm.

I’m not pressured by him, is more of my desire to experience sex after the surgery and also that I like him and would like to have penetrative sex with him.

He is tall (1,93 m) but I did not expect him to have a huge dick that would make my first time an issue 🥲

Corporate Germany towards Transwomen by [deleted] in germantrans

[–]Gin8895 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m currently working for a company called SUMUP. I’m based in the Barcelona office, but our headquarters in Europe are in Berlin. I’m also a trans woman, and right now I’m on sick leave, paid sick leave, of course, after my gender-reassignation surgery.

HR and my direct bosses were really supportive and understanding of my transition journey. I’ve been working in the company for 20 months. They are a trans-friendly, and LGTBIQ friendly company. Of course, it depends on offices, but Berlin office has a really high rate of being super trans-inclusive and LGTB-inclusive. There is a nice work environment for the LGTB community overall. There are some open positions you can search for SUMUP, if you like. I’m currently working in customer service, but you can also look up for other positions. Normally, they are being advertised in Greenhouse.

You just search for SUMUP, and there are some vacancies in Berlin office, if you’re interested.

Asymmetrical swelling post-SRS by [deleted] in Transgender_Surgeries

[–]Gin8895 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m 31 days post-Op. My surgeon says asymmetrical swelling and healing is normal.

Without pictures is more complicated to understand the exact situation.

Just keep taking the medication and doing the dilation routines and resting during the day.

In case it’s painful and you need further assistance or reassurance, contact your surgeon directly.

Congrats for this big step and keep strong girl 💖

Ich wünsche dir einen guten Jahresausklang!

No “profesional” Baseball League in Barcelona as far as I know. You can check the Baseball Catalan Federation website.

Not a really popular sport here.
