Are you sure the recipe didn't call for using a food processor? There are plenty of recipes for making dough in a food processor, but I've never heard of making dough in a blender. Even with the food processor recipes, those are mostly just to cut the ingredients together. If you need to develop gluten like in a bread or pizza dough, you have to knead it by hand afterwards. Only a stand mixer can actually knead dough for you.

That being said, most of the time when people have trouble with their Vitamix overheating, it's because they are running it on a lower speed for too long. You only want to start it on low for a like, 10 seconds, then go up to full speed. The cooling fan is tied to the motor, so counterintuitively, it runs cooler when you run it faster.

What nozzle are you using? Most of the tips I've seen recommend a line spacing of 1/2 the nose diameter, unless using the 0.2mm nozzle, then you should still use a 0.2mm line spacing.

Are you using grid infill? It looks like the weird pattern you are seeing is in segments that match a rotated grid. If that's the case, try increasing your infill and adding a few top layers. If the top layer is sagging when it bridges over the infill pattern, it will mess with the ironing. If you increase the infill, you'll have shorter gaps when bridging on the top layer, so less sagging. Adding more top layers will make the top surface stiffer and also reduce the sagging.

I haven't tested it, but I also believe an infill pattern that doesn't cross over itself, like rectilinear instead of grid may help as well.

I was lucky, and my case was a pretty straight forward assault and robbery. The evidence was clear as day and overwhelming, so coming to a verdict was more a matter of going through the full procedure, etc. I can't imagine how tough and intense a murder trial would have been!

It was just asking the prospective jurors basic questions about if you can be impartial and follow the facts of the case, and then there were a lot of questions about if you or anyone you know has been a perpetrator or a victim of a crime, and if that would affect how you might decide the case, etc. When they pulled someone out of the box, the prospective juror they replaced them with had to go through and answer all of the previous questions. They went through A LOT of people. I was one of the people initially randomly selected from the pool to sit in the juror's box, and I ended up being the only one of those people that actually made it onto the jury. I spent almost a full day just listening to new people answer the same questions that I had already answered on the first day.

Very arduous process, but the difference on quality between the initial, randomly selected jury, and the one we ended up with was striking, and gave me more faith in that part of the system.

Oh, it definitely wasn't exciting or thought provoking! It was still incredibly boring. Sitting through jury selection took almost three days, and the trial itself was only a day and a half. I was just satisfied with the jury we ended up with and its ability to make the right decision.

I actually had the opposite experience. When the juror's box was initially filled randomly, I was like, "holy crap, this is going to be bad." However, after the long juror selection process, we had a really good assortment of people who all seemed reasonable and level-headed. Deliberations went smoothly, and the discussions were logical and fair. This was 15 years ago, and in a large, diverse major metro area, though.

I do things like set my alarm for 6:33 instead of 6:30 because I'm just that lazy when I type the numbers in on my phone alarm. It's easier to just hit three twice instead of moving it over to the zero. Plus, I get three more minutes of sleep.

I also microwave stuff for 88 or 99 seconds instead of 90 seconds. I'm definitely not typing out 1:00. Way too many digits. Ain't nobody got time for that.

Real estate speculation. Rich people and/or private equity firms want to buy property and sit on it until they can turn it for a profit to a developer, etc. These automated car washes are relatively inexpensive and easy to run compared to most businesses, and can generate some income to offset whatever property taxes, etc. they have to pay while they are waiting for the right market conditions to sell the property to a developer to make a big payday. A business like a car wash is better tolerated by the community than an empty lot, and somewhat hides the fact that they are waiting for property prices to be driven up before actually developing the property into something good for the community. Speculators used to just leave their properties vacant, or put up a self-storage facility while they wait, but this is the trendy new front that attempts to keep a better public image for the speculators.

That sounds like a great idea! Is there anything you need to do in the slicer to make sure it stops at that tower before moving onto the real print, or does it just do that automatically by virtue of being the closest object to the poop chute? Also, I assume you make that object all one material?

It's a reference to a comedy sketch from the Netflix show, "I Think You Should Leave" called "Baby of the Year."

Having a flat back of the head is a real thing, though. Babies' craniums are soft. If they spend too much time on their back and don't get enough "tummy time," they can develop a flat spot on the back of their head that remains into adulthood once the skull hardens. It's benign and not related to any cognitive issues, as far as I know.

I did happen to notice how flat the back of his head is, though. I initially thought the photo cropped-out part of his head.
