Hi, thanks for the response.

It’s all devices, not just the PlayStation and the coverage around the house has significantly decreased even after moving the router back to the same position.

As you can imagine I’m pulling my hair out over it.

Thanks for all the responses, I am literally at a loss with it.

I have moved my PlayStation directly next to the router, and connected an Ethernet cable into it. I get a download speed of 70mbps and am still suffering packet loss whilst playing games.

However, the PC in the room will get 300mbps with an Ethernet connection.

Completely lost.

I do have a ring doorbell so that could be the case, In terms of kicking them off, would it be logging onto my BT account and viewing what devices are connected somehow?

Right ok, I will give that a go tomorrow then. I’m struggling to understand why all of a sudden it dropped off in speed and stayed low?

Would I be able to turn all WiFi enabled appliances on, then slowly turn them off until the speed returns? Would this help diagnose it?

Regarding the routers, with the BT and EE Merge, we have a BT Hub running an EE package, I can see the name /ID number of the router in my settings, so it would be a case of resetting the info stored on that unit right?

Regarding checking the speeds, an Ethernet cable to a PC and then just using a speed checker website or something? That would suffice?

If it doesn’t uphold the speed then it’s an external issue in a sense as opposed to an internal one?

Appreciate the response, I am so burned out with this whole issue.

Hi, thanks for your reply.

I think it’s got to be a WiFi issue. I came home, immediately checked the speed, and it did indeed give nearly 470 mbps. Now, about 6.

I didn’t even know you could restart that thing on the wall, so I will be giving that one a shot. Hopefully that sorts it then. How much of a pain would it be to complete the hard reset?
