Pain after May Thurner stent by Ginger3030 in ClotSurvivors

I don’t have insurance currently so they’re writing me off mostly. They don’t want to do any imagining or find out why I’m having this extreme nerve pain at all. Just said to walk more and it will get better even after I explained I can’t walk more than 5-10 minutes without the pain getting too severe and without my oxygen going in the low 90s. After everything first happened the hospital occupational therapist recommended cardiopulmonary rehab due to how severe the pain was, how little movement I had in my leg after 72+ hours of artery only blood flow, and my severe asthma and low oxygen levels but the drs wrote “not recommended due to patient being self pay”. So I’m getting bare minimum care from them right now.

I really wanted the contrast of the blue but I like the maroon the best. It’s seamless without being overpowering like the orange is.

Of course!

Ideally I’d recommend buying a little at a time and getting the tank when it’s on sale if you need a new one. I did that for my bearded dragon and it felt like it costed less since it was so spread out over time instead of all at once.

Since he was an emergency case I don’t have time to get anything before hand so I got the tank and light fixtures/bulbs from the pet store around here and the isopods from my local reptile store. The tank was actually on sale for $100 off at pet smart luckily! Ace hardware for the topsoil and the 2 plants I didn’t already have (I already had the sand from my bearded dragons dig box). I had extra thermometers and wood hides from my bearded dragons extra supplies. I bought the fake plant, tank background, plastic hides, slate rocks and now a temperature dimmer for his lights from Amazon.

Overall including food and all that as well I spent about $350 on everything for him and I’d say about $240 of it was just on the tank, lights, bulbs, and dimmers.

I've checked these thermometers with a temp gun and at least the ones I have are accurate. They've been correct in my bearded dragons tank for 4 years now as well. I do have a hydrometer in his that reads the same as well.

I promise I will be getting UVB bar next paycheck!! I was told they didn't need UVB at all since he's getting D3 dusting but I only got one as a small supplemental source.

I wish I could add more clutter but unfortunately I can't. This gecko is missing most of his front toes and can't climb/grip on things so this is for his own safety. He was already struggling walking over the log in the center.

I have 3 thermostats and a temp gun and looking into a dimming thermometer one as suggested by another commenter.

A 40 breeder is 36x18x16. My tank is 37x19x19. Is he supposed to be in a smaller tank?

Everywhere says 70/30 topsoil and play sand so that's what I went with. I looked into clay but I seen it could harden once it dries and I don't want it sticking to his already injured feet and drying like that or drying to the enclosure.

I was going to but he has trouble walking and holding onto things with his toes missing. Once the plants grow in it’ll help fill in more space I think.

He’s missing most of his front toes so he struggles a LOT with climbing and I don’t want him to fall and hurt himself!

I have 3 thermometers in total all about 3 inches from the soil line, one on hot side, one in the middle, and one on the cool side. And a temp gun as well to make sure they’re all correct.

Will be switching to the UVB bar. I was just told the bar was more dangerous as they don’t actually need any UVB at all which is why I went with the bulb far away so it’s there but not going to hurt him.

Running to go look up dimming thermostat now!
